In the Gospel reading for this coming Sunday, Jesus says, "Do not judge unless you want to be judged".  I also like Ms. Newton Martin's take on this that we never really know why someone does what they do.  We can never really appreciate what they have endured or are enduring that brought them to behave the way they do.  And, as she adds, love and kindness cost us nothing.
