Quote Of The Week

Each week I will choose a spiritual and inspiring quote and publish it in this section.  I will also add a comment on why I think it is a good quote.  If you have any suggestions please pass them along to me.  I hope you enjoy this feature.

Francis of Assisi

In the Gospel of John, we read, "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it".  Each of us has been given a candle to carry in this world—a unique light that reflects the love and grace of God.  Let us believe in the light we can bring into the lives of those we encounter.  Small acts of kindness, words of encouragement, and gestures of compassion can make a significant difference.  Please know that your light is precious, and it is needed now more than ever.  As Jesus taught us, "Let your light shine".  Amen.
