I was baptized and confirmed Anglican when I was young. Several years ago I was searching for an Anglican Church to call home. Singing in the choir and feeling welcomed were important on the list. There were other churches that fit that bill, but there was a positive energy here at St. John that spoke to me. I visited this church a few times in the fall of 2010 and decided to stay at the beginning of 2011. I have felt very welcomed here by so many and it's become another home and family. I love singing with the awesome people in the choir, but I have surprised myself at becoming involved in different parts of the church life, and as Church Warden. The church has many purposes, but to me it usually means fellowship with God and with other Christians, all of whom are at different places on their spiritual journeys. If you have anything that you think the Parish Council should be made aware of, or if you just want to chat, please feel free to come and talk to me!
