Fantastic News!

I have just received an email from Bruce Morris, the Archdeacon of Deacons in the Diocese of New Westminster regarding Juanita's interview and outcome with the Examining Chaplains.  The email starts with these words,

"It is with pleasure that I inform you that the Examining Chaplains have recommended that you (Juanita) proceed to the Ministry Discernment Conference". 

There is still a ways to go for Juanita before she becomes an ordained Deacon, but this is a huge and very important step she has just taken.  On behalf of the whole St John's family let me congratulate Juanita for a job very well done!  Let us all continue to pray for Juanita's journey.
