In Memoriam

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the death of our dear Sister in Christ Jean Sampy.  Jean died peacefully on Sunday at the North Vancouver Hospice in the arms of her daughter and other family by her side.  Jean's love for her family was a huge part of her life.

At St. John's Jean was an enthusiastic member of our Altar Guild and a former member of Parish Council.  She was always ready volunteer and help out in whatever capacity she could.  She had been with St. John's ever since she moved from England with her husband Charlie about 9 years ago.  Jean had a deep and abiding Anglican faith and the Church community was very important to her.  Her wonderful smiles, her great sense of humour and her friendship will be dearly missed.

A memorial service for Jean will be held at St. John's on Tuesday, November 7 at 1:00pm with a reception to follow in the Church Lounge.  Please keep Jean's family and friends in your hearts and in your prayers.

May Jean rest in peace, and rise in glory.
