Memorial Garden Refurbishment

In about one year's time we are planning to have a Memorial Garden Sunday.  The idea is to invite family and friends of those who have been interred in our Memorial Garden and have a special rededication of this sacred ground.

Before we have this special Sunday we are planning some refurbishments to the Memorial Garden.  First, all the current plants need to be removed and plot needs to be completely tilled.  Once that is done the hedge behind the stone seat will be trimmed to let more light into the area.  The stone seat itself will repaired, cleaned and repainted.  We are also planning some additions.  Stone or metal vases for flowers will be placed in the front of the Garden for people to put their flowers.  Also a plaque will be added explaining what the Memorial Garden is and why it is there.
